This past weekend was quite full of activity - much more than normal anyway.

Friday - I attended the Youth Grad BBQ/Pool party. Beforehand I prepared a picture presentation using music to wish the grad's farewell. It was fun and they really seemed to appreciate it. Which is always great to hear. It was a fun evening. People were swimming (I forgot my swimsuit :) ), we chatted, we watched the presentation, we ate (wonderful food!) and even played a little football. I even got in there and caught a pass and knocked the ball away on another play. Imagine that!
Saturday - Before 11am, I ran for groceries, picked up my prescription, filled up the car with gas, deposited my cheque, cleaned out my car and washed the dishes. I never moved so quickly in my life. After Christy and I drive to Gimli and had lunch outside on a restaurant's patio. It was beautiful. We proceeded to Gimli Bible Camp to a Victorian Tea fundraiser. It was alright. Not something for everyday, but was nice to hear the speakers such as Olive Carmichael speak of her time with the mission. We stopped back at Gimli and did some shopping. When we got back to Winnipeg we decided to go to the free stage of the Jazz Festival and listen to some music. It was a good time!
Sunday - I left the house at 8:30am and went out the Bird's Hill Park for our church picnic. We had a baptismal service, followed by the normal service and then our picnic. It wasn't the best day as it was pouring ran as I drove out. It cleard up a little, stopped raining but it never was a clear sunny day. Oh well! We all still had a good time. When I got home, I thought I was in for the night but my friend Chris invited me to go see a movie with him and his sister Joy. We saw 'Take the Lead' with Antonio Banderas - it wasn't half bad. I love dancing movies because I wish I moved like that. It is totally worth the $3 I paid to see it.

So, that's my weekend in a nutshell. Guess I should run. Take care.
