Monday morning and I wish I were still in bed.....

Hey there! I don't know what has been going on with me, but I can never fall asleep at night for a while and then I've been getting up atleast once, sometimes more in the middle of the night. So, here I am Monday morning and I wish I were still in bed. Uh Oh! I think I'm getting to be just like my mother. (no offence mom!)

Friday night, I picked up fried chicken and potato wedges and visited my friends Kevin & Colleen who just 2 weeks ago had a beautiful baby boy - Caleb. It was an awesome excuse to go and visit with them. Life gets way too busy!

Saturday evening, I worked at Pulford. The wonderful job that, that is, we went to the movie theatre and watched Pirates of the Caribbean 2. We were a little late and the theatre was PACKED so, we ended up sitting in the second row. Very close and my neck is still a little sore, but overall the movie is very well done. Johnny Depp is hilarious in it, even though my collegue Therese thought he was sexy. I'm not too sure about that. I could live without the demons/gobblins/just overall creepy looking creatures.

Sunday, I was invited along with Agnes & Olive to visit the former Chairman's (CSSM Executive board) house just outside of Portage la Prairie. Me being the driving wimp that I am - Agnes was so very wonderful and she drove. In the picture below, I'm just 'borrowing' Olive's 'car'. Agnes is on the right and Olive is in the middle. Olive just recently celebrated her 92nd birthday. These are two awesome women, both have dedicated most of their lives to reaching the unreached Canadians for Christ through the ministry of CSSM. Olive is probably one of our strongest prayer warriors today! It was an awesome day visiting with Ferdi's family and these two ladies. Thanks!
