SNOW DAY

Winter is definitely here! Yesterday, Winnipeg had the first snow day of the year! When I walked home on Monday night it was just starting to lightly come down. At 10:00pm, Carly (roommate) and I went for a walk. It was so beautiful and all the streets were so deserted (like everyone was scared inside by the fright of snow). By the time I woke up on Tuesday, there had to be atleast a foot of snow on my car! So, instead of trying to get out of the back lane or walking through a foot of snow all the way to work, I took the bus with Carly. It took us 45 minutes to go 19 blocks. I would have been able to walk faster. But, it was a fun adventure! Last night, it took 2 hours for Carly and I to clear the snow. This is a picture of my car before the clearing began....Tonight, Carly is treating me to a Sushi Dinner as a late birthday present. How awesome is my roommate?!?!?! (She's never had sushi, so it should be interesting!)
