Well, I totally got sick of my hair and chopped it. It's all gone - a curly bob is left. It'll be much lighter for the summer. I got it cut to look like this one girl's cut from church, we have such a similar curl that people think that we are related. Never met anyone that had the same kind of hair before. BUT, the cut didn't really work out the way that I wanted. OH! well! I guess I will get used to it.
Last night, I went to ladies night at my church. It was called Cherished Generations - people brought their sisters, mothers and grandmothers. It made me miss my sisters and mom very much and I'm kicking myself in the butt for not asking my grandma. I just assume that she's going say no, so why bother. It was a very nice evening.
Tonight, Carly and I have our night at Siloam. Last week, she went to a concert and her dad had work so I went by myself. Wow, 10 years ago I would never have done such a thing. By myself. I've been such a chicken. BUT, it was very growing for me to do that by myself. Anyway, it's always a nice evening - working hard for someone else. You can go to bed and feel good. And, it's been a fun thing to do with Carly to get to know her better.
Tomorrow (Thursday), I have a very busy day. I have work, of course, and then 5:30pm I have a 2nd interview for a job. I'm looking for a second (part time) job to help me save money for Taiwan - which I want to do next April. The job is with a Community Living Services company that provides care for people with mental disabilities - in all severities. It looks like I'm going to be placed in a residential home - which means with clients that need 24 hour care. The 2nd interview is at the home, where I will meet the patrons. They will be evaluating me - and they make the final decision. This way the company knows that it's probably someone that will work out better. I'm looking only for 12 hours a week and they seem really comfortable with that, so that's good. I don't want to take on too much that it jeopordizes my job with CSSM. That's way too important. So, after my interview I'm off to bible study at Pastor Jonathan's. By the time that's done, my parents will be here for Easter. YEAH! Family!!!! I miss them SO very much! And hopefully, it will be a great weekend.
Well, gotta skedattle!
Take care - out there!
