Well, it's been awhile since I updated the page.

This was my first Christmas with Carly. Here is a picture of our tree. We put on 8 strand of lights. It was blinding to look at but it looked very cool! On Christmas Day, we woke up and opened stockings. Carly was humoring me because that has been a family tradition.

Christmas was well, wierd. My parents were visiting my sister in Taiwan and my brother and his wife were in Regina with her family. I flew to Calgary and spent Christmas with my sister Malisa and her husband. So, I spent Christmas day and Boxing day at Matthew's (brother-in-law) parents farm. His family was super nice and treated me like one of the family. BUT, it was wierd not to have my WHOLE family around. I was in Calgary for a week. We spent two days at the farm, a day walking around Cochrane and one around Canmore, one day we went shopping in Calgary, made Mennonite perogies, and drove to Edmonton another day. Very good week!

While we were at the farm, I got to drive the farm motorbike AND Matthew let me fire his muzzle loading gun. Here I am firing Matthew's brother's gun. It was so much fun!

I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to go see and spend time with Matthew and Malisa before the baby. Malisa is pregnant with their first child, due in May.

Since Christmas I've been working on planning the CSSM National Banquet. It's coming up in one week on January 28th. During that time we are also having our national council sessions, where our council from across Canada is meeting for two days to discuss policy and the direction of the mission. Lots of things going on.

Today I'm working on a presentation that will be shown at the Banquet - that's if it gets finished. So, speaking of that I should get back to working on it.

Take Care
